This 100%. It is so risky to promote such a fresh comic that is barely off the ground with both story and consistency. I mean... it even makes more sense to advertise comics with more pages since it gives Tapastic more revenue. It seems like a win win for Tapastic.
@Mid25 Ahh, noted. It might be because it's optimized for mobile despite being in a print format. I've noticed viewing it on a small screened desktop that doesn't show the whole page is quite disorienting. I tried fixing this for later pages. So hopefully I have a better handle on it now. Thank you for the kind words though!
@shazzbaa Please tell me that is actually a Trope. I've got to google this. XD Ironically, the ORIGINAL Pest Caravan that I did five years ago lasted four pages before I went," Oh God, my story isn't strong enough yet, but I really like it." ( I don't think the same fate will happen to this one though, unless I'm insane and want to waste 20 pages of completed work. Haha.)
...I won't lie... I did utter a tiny "Oh, no." when I saw the Staff Pick because I knew it was too early. D: I'm not sure if I should post some more episodes right now, or just keep to my schedule. I kinda don't want to burn a hole in my buffer so quickly, but at the same time, I think the same thing when I see a comic with such few pages.
@Rudydemon You're not a weirdo. Comics are the way they are so they can best tell stories. I mean if artists want to just make pretty art, there really isn't a need to put it in a comic format. Also, I'll be honest, I almost always regret subbing for art. It's really story that should sell a comic at least partly.
I mean I chose the style I did because I felt it conveyed the nature of my story better. (Because if I chose my natural style... umm... it would look like a horror comic XD ). And so I genuinely hope the other Staff Picks aren't just going for pretty either, but I know that isn't always the case.
Edit: Oops forgot @
