For the "Damsel in the Red Dress" cast:
Alicia likes romance novels and reading poetry. Movie-wise, she likes some modern drama series, especially ones with funny dialog and emotional scenes, as well as old black and white comedies, like "The Bachelor and The Bobby Soxer" and "My Favorite Wife." But her all-time favorites in the movie category are Hitchcock-type suspense movies that have you at the edge of your seat, like "Dial M for Murder" and "Rear Window." Her favorite movie is "The Man Who Knew Too Much."
Kattar likes action flicks, yes, even the ones that are highly disputed. He grew up on Jackie Chan and Chuck Norris. He likes spy movies, Indiana Jones-type stuff, "National Treasure." Anything a little overly dramatic with someone trying to overthrow an evil plot is good for him, so long as the lead is a hero, he's not one for anti-heroes who are too willing to kill people. When he was younger he used to watch more superhero shows, particularly Young Justice and one of the old X-men series, but like I said, he's not a fan of dark-heroes, so he eventually lost interest. His favorite hero is Waly West Kid flash/flash. He's not much of a reader, but will occasionally skim a comic book (never anything that doesn't have pictures.)
Andrew: Anything funny? He watches a lot of clips from things like Friends, Seinfeld, Bigbang Theory, The Office, Blackish, etc. He rarely watches full episodes of anything unless it's dark or bad weather outside, because he's an outdoor-sy person, who would rather be working in his mini-orchard, he even drags his roommate into eating in the garden with him. He's not much into reading either, though he'll read self-help books or books on business, and occasionally some classics that are suggested to him.
Jinho: Isn't big on TV (or fun, tbh) but he does like mystery and romance novels, and action-centered Netflix series as well, especially ones that have a lot of mystery elements that make you try to think them out. He loves the Robert Downey Junior "Sherlock Holmes Movies" as well as the "Sherlock" series. But he despises (audibly) "Enola Holmes."
Mrs. Moon: Has no time to watch television, though on Christmas she watches the Sound of Music, and a few Christmas-themed romances on television, more because she loves Christmas than because she loves romance movies. Neither does she have time to read books for fun.
Melissa Xochitl: Loves all romance series and shows. She reads romance novels and watches novellas, which her husband, half-heartedly, sits through with her. She'll even watch Hallmark movies if there's a draught on new romances at the time. She's also a particular fan of Jane Austen movies and ones in a similar era. Her favorite is on called "Belle." (look it up, it's about a black woman who was raised as part of a European family of aristocrats)
Shannon: Doesn't do a lot of reading or watching TV, as he's all about social outings. On his off time, he's at a bar or a friend's SuperBowl party, not sitting home alone.
Emelia: Likes science fiction shows with a lot of lore, and superhero movies that are in long-running series where the plots interweave with each other and interconnect, I.e. the MCU and all of its shows (though she hated the Ms. Marvel show, she did watch the whole thing.) She's watched the old Fantastic Four Cartoon, and every episode of Doctor Who. She also loves all things Godzilla.
