I know this may seem a little superfluous for some people, but I'm lucky enough to live where there was a total eclipse today and I thought I'd share some of the grainy pictures!
I took some shots but they were all on film so it'll be a while before they'll be seen. Here's a digital shot of nature's pinhole cameras in action.
We had a 95% eclipse here in Halifax, NS, Canada. I managed this shot using my iPhone 14 through eclipse glasses. It was not easy. This was at around 4:30pm Atlantic Daylight Time, about 8 minutes before it peaked. I was unable to get any better photos during the peak.
I wish I could take photos with my eyes 'cause neither my phone or digital camera could capture that total eclipse. It just looked like white sun in a night sky, but with my own eyes I saw the ring, the haze, and a little orange dot. The only decent photos I got were the start and end, but I can't post them here due to the file size
Sorry to hear that. I wish I had a better camera too, especially for the total, but it was a last minute thing that I got the chance to look. I like the way the cresent pictures came out though; I got good photos of that.
Wow those are great pictures of the eclipse! Beautiful!
Lucky! I was in Pigeon Forge, Tennessee(USA) when it happened and there was nothing but cloud cover.
Drew this though a few days before, as a joke...
Gotta put it somewhere, lol!
