Hi guys.
This thread or question could well get me in trouble but here goes:
Is it just me, or is there a difference between a 'comic' and a 'cartoon strip'.
Tapastic hosts both, in my view, but doesn't differentiate between the two.
For me, a comic is a long-form collection of pages that tells an on going story, be it humorous of otherwise.
A cartoon strip is a 3 or four panelled short-form gag or 'quick hit'. Each 3 or 4 panel strip is self contained.
I've been trying to track down some 'comic strips' on Tapastic and I find it hard.
Sure, I like comics as much as the next guy, but sometimes my mood calls for a cartoon strip and we're all merged as one.
Does anyone else share my views on this or am I to be shot down and proven quite wrong?
