I agree with @CyndiFoster and @Sketchmazoid with the practise the anatomy with warm-up and thumbnailing! I've just thumbnail a pose for the THIRD time because even though it would work, narratively it was space hungry and too similar to a previous panel a page or two back.
Best advice I can give is to loosen up and experiment! Also read lots! Lots of different types of comic's and visual stories. It feeds the mind with ideas! And when reading other material always ask 'why?' Why does that page work? Why, did they choose that pose? Or panel type. And 'How?' How did they do that? How can I learn that?
I recommend Scott McCloud's Understanding comic, I LOVE this book, it sits on desk and inspires me to delve deep in the how's and why's of comic making. Or even our own Brick By Brick It's an amazing read.
This is a bit heavy for advice I know but I see potential is all Your style and storytelling is much like mine was I much younger.
