I do draw a lot of swords and knives and other implements of stabby death. Comes with the territory when you draw a comic about a wandering swordsman prone to get into fights.
But I also have a soft spot for staves and spears and lances and stuff. Not only are they fun to choreograph in a fight, they're also a nice prop outside of a fight; the characters can lean on them, or carry them over their shoulders, or use them to poke at things, etc., etc. They're a fun design-element in pictures, too!
I usually stay away from guns, because they are fiendishly difficult to draw, but I have been known to draw silly rayguns in scifi comics. Ones that are improbable and wouldn't work in reality, but which look kind of fun and kind of 1950s retro.
