Don't draw something that someone just suggests out of the blue and you think is a good idea.
There's a difference between liking an idea and wanting to act on an idea. One requires admiration, the other requires determination (and discipline and passion, but that doesn't sound as catchy).
Take the time to come up with something YOU want to draw. Not what anyone else wants you to draw - create something that you will be proud of, and something you won't get burnt out with drawing just because you didn't have the passion for it in the first place. It may take days, it may take weeks, it may take years.
And instead of feeling you have to create a series right this second, try just taking your time. Write out some ideas, try out some simple one-shot sketches to get them down, and do it all at your own pace. You have plenty of time to create something you'll be proud of (:
