Besides the technical aspects (good anatomy skills, understanding perspective for example), the only real difficult part to creating comics is finding the time to create them.
Often times as of late I'm jumping from art project to freelance work to being a good boyfriend while maintaining my day job to pay the bills. By the time I finally get a chance to sit and dedicate time to continuing my main comic series I feel the weight and strain of getting as much done as quickly as possible. Rushing to find the right reference, trying to perfect the line weight and anatomy.
Main goal at the end of the day is get it done. My comic strip series is a testament to that. No matter what, I will do a 3 panel comic once a week even if I have no ideas at the time or "in the mood". It's about getting shit done and taking that step forward in my comic creating career.
