The max limit on Tapastic for page width is 940 pixels, and a lot of artists use the full size. It's tempting, especially if you're a good artist who wants to show off every juicy detail in your beautifully painted panels, But I'm finding in some situations, this is a hindrance to the flow and overall reader comprehension of a comic page, especially if the composition of a comic isn't a constant downwards pattern (read the composition topic). The reader sometimes has to scroll back up the page, and smooth flow is lost. And there are some circumstances where a panel is so large, it doesn't fit on the screen (and I feel as the units of a page, panels should be seen whole!)
Anyway, that's what I feel, and zooming out on my browser fixes it for me, but I want to know what you guys think. Does a close up on a page break composition and flow?
