The Only Living Boy, by David Gallaher & Steve Ellis with their studio
Bottled Lightning, was nominated for a 2014 Harvey Award for Best
Original Graphic Publication for Younger Readers. The series, which is
currently serialized on tapastic.com and olbcomic.com, tells the story
of a 12-year-old boy who runs away from home and finds himself lost
and abandoned in a patchwork world.
Named in honor of the late Harvey Kurtzman, one of the industry’s most
innovative talents, the Harvey Awards recognize outstanding work in
comics and sequential art. They will be presented September 6, 2014 in
Baltimore, MD, in conjunction with the Baltimore Comic-Con.
Final ballots are due to the Harvey Awards by Monday, August 18, 2014.
Voters may vote in as many or as few categories as they like. Email

Harvey Awards are voted on exclusively by Comic-Book creators, those
