@phenylketonurics You got a good eye. The sign is so small and hald hidden. I didn't expect anyone to see it. Well done! It was definitely a fun one to draw.
@CyndiFoster So many questions! I'm glad you like it. I have to say, so many people know my characters name. I'm impressed! I always call David, Kiddo... Haha
Now how they got the wires is a fun story! They were waiting at the train station, on the way to the festival. They knew they wanted to join in but didn't know what to sell. Lev pointed out to an old fence and Ricky had the idea to dismantle it into wires.
You should usually use pliers to bend them into sculptures but Lev did it by himself while getting to the village.
They are pretty simple in the end so they not selling them much. Ricky fixes the price depending on how long the wire is. About 3 dollars for small character, 5 for the eiffel tower, 10 for animals and 15 for St Germain church in wires! But everything can be bargained...
The hot dogs are a gift from Big Jo, the only guy they know that works. He probably gets them from the main canteen at a cheaper rate. He works for the public cleaning services...
The sausage comes in big buckets, so they'll have enough for the night. No condiments thought... Ricky would suggest to go to his competitor across the village... Smart.
David doesn't actually know any song... He just strums chords signing whatever comes to mind. He would probably make up a Christmas song for the occasion, using bits from other titles. Yes, everything is home made here!
They saw the ad for the event at the very last moment on a free newspaper lying around. They were gonna use it for the bathroom corner... Participating was mostly Ricky's idea and everyone followed with creative ideas to built up the booth and get there in time!
I realized I spoke a little too much there! But I think you can guess what my series is about. Ricky and Lev are two long time homeless guys. They find David in the streets one day and decide to teach about their way of life. Trouble comes around the corner and Lev is forced to stand up and face responsabilities.
I'm thrilled to be reaching that point in the story. The most intense scenes are coming up soon. This year is gonna be a crazy ride for my Ocs! Exciting!
