Since uploading a version of your comic on your own non-English language is supported, I had assumed it was also acceptable to comment on your own language if you know the comic author is from your own country or one that speaks your language (Spanish, in my case). But I just dropped a comment in Spanish to another creator (he had mentioned his English wasn't the best, mine isn't either and I had trouble translating my thoughts, so I said why not, this is silly) and someone told me that I had to speak English on Tapastic.
Now, I obviously understand I'm expected to keep my forum posts, general comments and info in English. I even reply to comments in English most of the time, even to my own Spanish speaking friends (it feels weird, but you do it for the community). But is this mandatory for comments too? I mean, if you can have a translated version of the comic it means you can have non-English speaking readers... does this mean they can't comment?
I'm not going to use Spanish around anymore since it apparently annoys some people, but I would still like to know if it is indeed against the rules and readers who aren't good at English cannot comment even if they know you would understand. I was going to tell my Spanish-speaking readers on the comic's Facebook page to come check the comic here, since it looks all pretty on mobile devices, but it's probably a bad idea if they can't comment. So... I need to know the official opinion on this subject, please
