Thanks for the tips and tricks.
I really don't know what to say or how to feel. I do feel stupid, for believing that it takes gift (artist hand) to finally be able to draw well enough while 'mortal' would only do mediocre or worst. I've many around me telling me that and that I should just give up drawing for more practical stuffs like a job because I've no talent.
I'm probably overwhelmed by such comments and my lack of improvement over the years. I've started drawing since really young (I was actively trying to draw comic back when I was 13-16 and then later jumped into portrait drawing and fanfic writing (off-topic). I did stop drawing comics traditionally when I was in my teens but continue to make comics in vector (illustrator).
But somehow, in the end ... I feel I'm kinda not here nor there ... My drawings aren't great and so are my vector art. I do believe somehow, I've gone wrong somewhere ... but I don't know what, maybe its as you guys said, lack of practice. well if that is the case then its must more easier to fix than 'no talent/gift'.
@handykartika: I did think of getting a tablet too ... But I don't know if it would help if its the problem with my drawing skill than the quality of scan.
@getsuart: I get you and I tried to do my lines in one stroke too. Don't know why its turn out messy still :/ Nice drawing btw.
@EiraQueenofSnow: WOW! How did you improve so much? Cos the one on the right is what i meant by "colouring book quality".
@Savannah: totally cool. It's like those B&W manga already! I'm doing the inking now since it seems like pencil doesn't work well. I am using ballpoint pens Pillot G-tech and Uni-ball Signo to do the inking ...
Sorry that this kinda turn into some ranting post. I really appreciate you people taking time to read and help out though
