Hello everyone,
So...I'm finally starting to take my Tapastic life seriously and in doing so, I'm trying to get to know more people around here. It's kind of hard/intimidating though. SO I'M GONNA BE BRAVE AND MAKE THIS POST ㅎㅁㅎ...Someone please reply OTL ...I'll laugh if the mods take this down..OTL
I like knowing random facts about people so here are five random things I'd like to know about you. And just to clarify, this really is a post that's attempting to reach out to/get to know people so I hope it turns into something more than just shameless plug by me or by others!
Warning, these are really random:
1. What's your favorite color?
2. What's your...favorite...spirit animal? ;;;
3. Your favorite alcoholic drink?
4. Non-alcoholic drink?
5. And of course, what do you draw on Tapastic and why? And don't give me some wishy-washy-because-it-gives-me-inner-satisfaction-explanation (unless that really is the reason lol). Like, why? You could be using the time and money to be doing so much more so why comics and why your comic in particular?
Edit *And since ppl are asking
1. Black...or orange...or red haha
2. Python
3. Pina Coladas (...and getting caught in the rain...)
4. Either water (I drink at least 2L a day ;;) or orange soda - mainly because I have good childhood memories tied to it.
5. I started drawing Life Can Be...because a Tapastic staff member/good friend (whom I used to work with at a law firm) encouraged me to back when Tapastic was a lot smaller haha I've always loved drawing (though I've only recently starting taking my hobby seriously) and I majored in English, so he encouraged me to combine the two and upload a comic. So I did. But to be honest, life's been pretty rough then and now. I believe that you can only know good humor after you've experienced true tragedy, because you come to know the true meaning of laughter when you're most desperate for joy. I think that's why I ended up drawing the funny stick-figure-ish comics for Life Can Be.
My other comic, The Underground, is new - the second chapter was uploaded only last night. It's a very long story to how I came to create this fancomic, but you know that feeling when you just get this idea and it just keeps growing and growing and if you don't get it onto paper, you literally feel sick - like something is just stuck in your life! Because The Underground is a fancomic, I'm never going to make a tangible profit from it - which sucks, yes, sad for me. But the thing is, I will go insane if I do not create this, and so, I create! Though anything I create is a part of me, I think The Underground physically shows me my soul in a way other things I've created haven't thus far, so although it's still in its infant stages both in plot and artistic skill, it holds a very special place in my heart.
