Firstly, thanks for your review! You're totally right I need more confidence T_T and you have a good point about adding extra scenes. If I ever do redraws I'll be sure to keep it in mind.
Right from the start, your comic is quite lovely. The first two pages are good for atmosphere. I found the abrupt shift in tone odd and first, but then it got pretty funny. Though you have quite a few silly moment so far, you make the transition to serious well and there's a good balance of the two. There is also quite the bit of mystery and intrigue surrounding your characters. The interactions between then when they sat down to talk had me intrigued immediately, and everything that happens afterwards only helps to build the tension. Right now you have me super curious about Evan and what his story is (is he the monster?). However, if the monster really looks like the creature you showed already, that would be pretty unfortunately because it would have ruined the reveal. If that's not the case just disregard this part.
Your art is also nice. As soon as they get into the house, the shading is awesome, and the backgrounds are very nice though the poses can look a bit off at times. I recommend looking at references for tougher poses. I really like your blood and sound effects as well as the angles you used in some of the shots.
