Hello Tapastic community!
I started a fantasy comic five years ago and challenged myself to add an animation to every single page. The comic now has over 600 pages. The animations range to as simple as a shimmer in the eye to full-body movement. Whatever I want to portray with movement in my story. Early pages, of course, have much simpler animation.
The comic is NIK; http://tapastic.com/series/NIK

I was wondering if any other comics are GIF format with an animation on every page? I've noticed a few that animate a page once in a while. That might be nice and less of a burden, haha! But I keep challenging myself. Also, what is your opinion on animations within webcomics? I've had mixed reviews, but I enjoy animating so I continue doing it. It'd be fully animated if I had that kind of time. I love the idea of characters being brought to life. And you can even see their swagger/how they hold themselves when moving. It's like another element to the story.
Anyway, I love animating, as you can tell. I'd like to know your feedback on this topic! The programs that I use include TVPaint Pro and Jasc Animation for animating. Most other animated comics seem to use flash, but those programs never suited me.
